Kbands will benefit Baseball players

Baseball/Softball

Baseball is a sport where most every movement is a combination of lateral and rotational movements.  When an athlete has weak glutes they run into many inefficiencies with these particular movements. So when training an athlete it is important to train in a sports specific fashion, as well as a general skill building fashion.  What I mean by this is building an athlete’s speed, agility, and core strength will take an athlete to the next level, but to make this correlate to sports specific movements, individual sports trainings is necessary.

There are many benefits to training with Kbands that will help baseball players improve their game. Kbands will increase a player’s glute strength and hip stability.  Training these muscles will help with center of balance, preventing knee injuries, and explosive first steps.  Hip flexors are used in many baseball movements (leg lift for pitchers/hitters). Stronger hip flexors increase speed, power, and explosion. When reaching maximal speed hip flexors play a major role in continuing to increase an athlete’s speed.

What I suggest.
Baseball/Softball is all about leg strength, core strength, rotational quickness, and hand eye coordination. A simple way to improve an athlete’s performance is to improve in these areas. An athlete should use Kbands Core and Speed Training DVD to become an overall functional athlete. After they have improved their core strength, worked for gains in overall body control, and have shown speed increases its time to start training in a sport specific fashion. This includes: ground ball drills, outfield drop step drills, leg drive training for pitchers…..ect. (All using the bands)
Soon we will offer baseball specific routines but to get a head start of the competition start by building your core and speed with Kbands Core and Speed Training DVD. Also become a member of the site to be notified of all the latest training techniques with the Kbands.
